Member: Gloria Champion
Gloria Champion is the Executive Director of the Home for Women in Children in Shiprock, New Mexico. She has been in the Domestic Violence arena for 18 1/2 years and is one of the founders of the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women. She received the Governor's Award from the New Mexico Commission on the Status of Women in 2005. Gloria feels very privileged to serve the families of the Navajo Nation in the areas of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.
